In this part of the series you will focus on networking computers together and making decisions about the ethical and safety issues involved in networking.  While it's possible to do this project alone, it requires at least two computers, and it's a great project to do with friends!  Are you prepared to get connected?

 
Learner Outcomes 

 

After completing the activities in Peer to Peeryou will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of what networking is and how it is accomplished
  • Work with adults and peers to build a functioning network
  • Exhibit a developing knowledge of the protocols and program languages that support computer networking
  • Recognize and mitigate the negative impacts that exist as a result of networking, such as viruses and hacking
