Welcome to Camping Adventures

Whether you are a serious camper or just getting started, you'll enjoy the activities in this guide. You'll experience many new things. You'll be eating, sleeping and living in the outdoors on your camping trip. You will consider the various types of shelters and tents that you can use for camping, how to pack and plan meals and how to keep your campsite beautiful for future campers. As you do the activities you'll also be practicing your decision making, problem solving and communication skills. Don't be afraid to jump right into an activity and give it a try. Learning takes place even when things don't turn out as planned. The most important thing is to try. Once you give it a try, talk with your helper about what you did. Your helper will work with you on your learning adventure.
