In Hiking Trails, you will have the opportunity to get out and explore the natural world around you by going out on a day hike. You will learn how to pack a backpack for a day hike and what ot put in your pack for a safe and ejoyable trip. The activities will allow you to experience new things and learn some important information. Make sure you take an adult along on your hikes!

  • Youth will practice and develop the life skills of relating to others, making decisions and communicating with others.
  • Plan and safely conduct camping, backpacking and wilderness excursions.
  • Develop minimum impact skills according to Leave No Trace techniques.
