INTRODUCTION

In this activity, practice creating and following algorithms in both coding and real-world applications.

As you go throughout the day, you are often asked to follow directions. You might need to follow certain steps to complete a school assignment or follow a specific path to safely walk to a friend’s house. You may need to use certain notes to sing a favorite song or combine ingredients in a certain order to create a favorite treat.  A process or set of rules to follow in coding is called an algorithm.
