2020 4‑H FOURWARD Fund Positive Youth Development Award Application
During this time of crisis, National 4‑H Council is launching the FOURWARD FUND to help provide kids and families with the educational resources and experiences they need. The purpose is to support essential elements of Positive Youth Development (PYD), staff and programs, including capacity building. We understand these times can put a strain on your funding and our mission is so important to all of us.
The second round of funding for the FOURWARD Fund Positive Youth Development (PYD) Awards is now open. At this time, this will be the last emergency funding available under FOURWARD Fund PYD.
Funding is open to any fiscally approved 4‑H Foundation, land-grant university (LGU), or county 4 H program. Funds will be dispersed to the 4 H System based on availability. Not all requests will be funded and/or receive the full amount.
Multiple funding requests are permitted under the following scenarios:
Option 1: You may submit one application with multiple projects requests (up to $15,000) per Foundation, land grant-university or 4‑H county program.
Option 2: You may submit no more than 3 separate applications per foundation, land-grant-university or 4‑H county program (up to $15,000 each).
These funds should support skill building activities, leadership opportunities and critical work from 4 H educators to mentor and connect to youth, especially limited resource and/or underserved youth, to support their well-being. Funds should also support projects that are diverse, equitable and inclusive and remove barriers for youth not normally served in your program.
