Ava's Story

Ava is a third generation 4-H’er! Her grandma joined 4-H in the 1940s and started the Lucky Clovers Club. All three generations attended the same 4-H camp every summer, and both Ava and her mom became camp counselors. Ava also became involved in her county’s Junior Fair Board and became a county fair queen, just like her mom. She hopes to carry on the Lucky Clovers Club family tradition when she’s an adult!

Kyra-Lee's Story

At just five years old, 4-H Youth in Action Pillar Winner Kyra-Lee’s passion for helping others was sparked when she received the unexpected and scary news that her mom’s lungs had collapsed on both sides. From feeling powerless to empowering others, Kyra-Lee was inspired by her mom to help youth in her Brooklyn community take control of their destiny and dream big.

Parker's Story

"My mom is the best mom in the world, well to me she is. She does so much for my sister, brother and I. Not only does she take us to our project meetings, she has meetings of her own that she has to attend because she's our club manager plus a sewing leader. There are days that she has three to four meetings a day and never complains. My mom is my super hero, not only in our 4-H club but in our home. I love you mom."
