Getting Ready for College and a Career

As you think about careers you are interested in, it’s important to find out how much each job usually pays and compare that with your future living expenses, including student loan payments. In this activity, you’ll learn how to do just that.

By the end of this activity, you’ll be able to identify potential college majors and career interests, estimate the starting salaries for your top three choices, estimate monthly expenses, including any student loan repayments, and compare your expenses to the annual salaries of the careers you selected.
