Building a ready generation
in a world of change.

Our mission is to reach 10 million youth

For our youth the road ahead may be challenging, yet
4-H'ers are succeeding. Data shows that compared to their peers they're:

  • 2x more likely to have the goal of being a leader
  • 3x more likely to participate in community service
  • 2x more likely to report living life with intentionality and purpose

Ways to Give

Are you ready to create a Ready Generation? Your gift is the most critical step to growing our 4-H programs so more kids can be beyond ready for what life brings their way. You can make a one-time, life-changing gift or become a monthly supporter who gives youth the skill-building, world-shaping resources they need all year long. There’s even the option to celebrate a loved one by making a tribute donation to 4-H in their honor.

We also accept gifts through check, stock, or money order. To make a gift using one of these methods,
please reach out to National 4-H Council’s Director of Annual Giving at amarshall@4-h.org or 301-961-2858.

Adeline Wright - New York

“Every single skill 4-H taught me isn’t about the hobby. It’s about pushing myself while learning how to manage myself. I’ve struggled with bouts of burnout in high school, but I never felt that way in 4-H. I learned how to balance stress, ask for help, and to tackle things in small pieces to avoid overwhelming myself.”

Vrishab Nooka - North Carolina

“Joining 4-H at 15 years old has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. I’ve made lifelong friends and learned to network, inspire change and get out of my comfort zone. I served as my club’s treasurer where I built real-world skills and developed a passion for finance. I now hope to study economics in college.”

Taylor Thigpen - Florida

"I knew growing up in a single parent household would cause me to experience hardships. During middle school, I became exposed to higher education through learning about land-grant universities with 4-H and began to explore the possibilities of college education and what it would take for me to get one, now becoming a first-generation college student."
