Program Assistants (PA) develop and facilitate our summer Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) program, serving over 1,500 4‑H youth from across the country in Washington, D.C. each year. PAs work as a team to complete tasks and conduct each week’s events, building strong teamwork, critical thinking, and problem skills. 4‑H seeks a highly motivated and purpose-driven leader as Senior Director of Individual Giving. The Senior Director will build a team to ignite and grow planned giving, major giving, annual appeals and special events in support of 4‑H’s mission. Working directly with the Chief Development Officer, the Director will develop strategy, execute growth plans, lead a team and inspire donors to invest in growing 4 H from six to ten million youth by 2025. As a senior leader on the Resource Development (RD) Team, the Senior Director will partner with Trustees, the Executive Team, influential alumni, major donors and peer RD leaders to grow the individual giving portfolio. The Senior Director will leverage experience to assess and maximize prospect research, solicitation, acknowledgment, gift administration, recognition, stewardship, and renewal strategies.
4‑H is currently seeking Educational Program Assistants (EPAs) to become licensed Class B Tour Guides for the District of Columbia (D.C.) metro area to facilitate 4‑H’s educational curricula to groups of youth on our Wonder of Washington (WoW) Educational Program. 4‑H’s programs are intense and exciting learning opportunities for youth and adults from all over the United States and the world. EPAs make these programs successful by using their unique skills and knowledge to help participants have the most educational and fun experience possible in Washington, D.C. and at the National 4‑H Conference Center.
The Resource Development Coordinator works in partnership with Account Managers in managing grantee and donor relationships through the creation and effective delivery of holistic National 4‑H Council partnerships, inclusive of high quality 4‑H Positive Youth Development programming nationwide and Council-led enhancements such as marketing, and professional development.
4‑H seeks an Integrated Marketing Intern to provide administrative and project support across two primary functions the Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) program marketing with key corporate partners as well as 4‑H’s celebrity ambassador engagement activities. The Intern will report to the Manager, PR & Celebrity Relations.
