This position is grant-funded, and the Account Manager is responsible for providing project management and stewardship of the assigned grants to provide high-level customer service to 4‑H stakeholders, including internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure donor satisfaction and grantee success through an effective project, fiscal, and budget management while providing superior customer service.
Council seeks an Accounting Manager who will be primarily responsible for grant accounting and management duties, producing internal and external financial reports, and ensuring that monthly closing procedures are accurately and timely executed. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will liaise with Council’s departments through monthly budget review.
Council seeks an Assistant Controller who will be primarily responsible for ensuring day-to-day accounting/finance functions are timely, accurately and efficiently executed. The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in audit preparation, organizational filings and compliance (990, property tax returns, etc.), budget preparation and periodic review. This role will also work to ensure that grant accounting guidelines and compliance parameters are met. The Assistant Controller must maintain current knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) pronouncements and coordinate with the Controller on change implementation.
The Resource Development (RD) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist provides technical assistance for the management of the CRM, StratusLIVE (Microsoft Dynamics), and Council data needs. They will serve as a resource to the Operations Team and ensure organizational effectiveness by implementing strategies, policies, practices, daily gift entries, and day-to-day operational and reporting needs. Additionally, the Specialist will assist with accurate analysis of all charitable data transactions.
Council seeks a dynamic Senior Manager, Principal Gifts Writing to support the Resource Development (RD) team with the creation of high-impact, compelling concept papers and proposals to strengthen 4‑H’s fundraising initiatives across our corporate and foundation prospects and donors at the $500K+ level. The Senior Manager will work closely with both internal and external clients to understand 4‑H’s system, external landscape and industry trends, programmatic areas, and the donor’s interests. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be responsible for stewarding donors at the $500K+ level by developing mid-term and final reports, as well as other documents as needed.
Council currently seeks a Staff Accountant to coordinate the accounts receivable function and will additionally be responsible for monthly bank account and corporate card reconciliations. Further, the Staff Accountant will review and process cash receipts, Associates’ expense reports and assist in preparing annual tax forms. The ideal candidate will also conduct relevant research, troubleshoot issues, and serve as a liaison between internal and external customers/vendors.
