National 4-H Leadership Meeting
Event Overview
The National 4-H Leadership Meeting is the premier annual gathering of 4-H program and fundraising leadership from across the country along with NIFA and National 4-H Council staff. This year’s meeting will take place February 25-28 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. ECOP 4-H and the 4-H PLWG will meet immediately following on February 29 and March 1.
Meeting Objectives:
- Engage 4-H leadership in the True North Initiative as a priority that serves as a framework for our unified efforts and impacts.
- Build a unifying data collection plan that tells our story and allows us to accurately report our impact to stakeholders.
- Advance National 4-H Equity Plan within states, territories, First Nations and institutions.
Meeting Registration
Your in-person meeting registration fee of $575 includes:
- Opening reception (Sunday, February 25)
- Breakfast, lunch and breaks (Monday, February 26 – Wednesday, February 28)
- Meeting materials
This year’s meeting will be highly interactive, with working sessions throughout our time. While virtual participation and registration will not be offered, there will be opportunities for those who cannot attend to provide input around the True North initiative as we get closer to our meeting date.
ECOP 4-H and PLWG members should also use the registration link below to register for their respective meetings. If you are only attending the ECOP 4-H or PLWG meetings (and do not plan to attend the National 4-H Leadership Meeting), National 4-H Leadership Meeting registration is not required.
Event Accommodations
Lodging is available at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza at a rate of $199 a night plus tax. This rate will be extended three days prior to and following the National 4-H Leadership Meeting subject to availability. Please be sure to make your hotel reservations no later than February 3, 2024 to take advantage of the group room block and rate.

Note: If you plan to share your room with a roommate, only one of you needs to make the hotel reservation. Please notify the front desk upon check-in that you will need to split the bill upon check out. You can supply a second credit card to ensure your lodging bill is split correctly when you both arrive at the hotel.
Travel Resources
Travel to Santa Fe: The hotel is served by two airports. Santa Fe Regional Airport is 12 miles away. Albuquerque International Sunport is 63 miles away.
Shuttles run regularly to/from Albuquerque International Sunport and are a convenient and economical way to reach Santa Fe. Advanced reservations are recommended for this shared ride service and the trip takes approximately 90 minutes one way.
Groome Transportation offers door to door service from the Albuquerque airport to the hotel.
