The National 4-H Summit for Healthy Living is a pioneer in the National Youth Summit Series, bringing together teen health leaders from across the country to focus on learning about and solving healthy living issues impacting our homes, our community and our economy.
Designed for grades 9 through 12, the Summit provides the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to address today’s issues facing nutrition education, physical fitness, wellness and emotional well-being.

Access live workshops, career panels and guest speakers from the comfort of your own home with a virtual summit experience. This live-streaming event will take place April 11-12 and is a separate event from the in-person Healthy Living Summit.

Mayyadah Zagelow, 2021 Youth in Action Winner
Mayyadah received the Youth in Action Award for Healthy Living, the highest 4-H honor awarded to a 4-H’er for overcoming challenges and using skills gained in 4-H to create a lasting impact in their community.
Passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and addressing social inequities, Mayyadah is a founding member of a grassroots youth movement in Washington state called the Equity and Inclusion Teen Taskforce. Through this taskforce, Mayyadah is working with fellow 4-H’ers to educate adults and teens alike through workshops and grassroots efforts about gender identities, expression, orientation and biological sex, as well as the challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community in hopes of creating a world of inclusion for all 4-H youth.

4-H Camps
4‑H overnight and day camps offer recreational and educational opportunities in a camp setting. 4‑H camps provide youth with the chance to meet new people, have fun and experience the great outdoors.
