Learn to Love Heartland Bees

About the course

The prairie is home to a wide variety of bees that make our food production possible — let’s learn to appreciate how their hard work pays off!

Native bees are important pollinators that help plants make fruits and seeds, and the American prairie is home to many different kinds of bees. In this series of activities, kids will learn about the importance of native bees for foods we love to eat, and how they do what they do, and how we can help protect them.
